Bayelsa State Jazz Club

Bayelsa State Jazz Club (BSJC) is an organisation established under the Bayelsa State Tourism Development Agency, to advance the frontiers of Jazz music in Bayelsa State. The cardinal objective in establishing the Jazz Club is basically to spread the gospel of Jazz music and:

– To win new converts especially among the youths.
– To provide a platform for socialization among Jazz music lovers.
– To ensure that Jazz music enjoys a sustainable growth in Bayelsa State.

The Challenge

The challenge was to develop a strong, modern and youthful brand visual. This process includes concept development, stationery and office wall posters. The visual appearance was constructed using one key element in Jazz music; the trumpet, neatly chiseled to form the letter ‘B’. Contrasted with bold colours and classic typefaces that have strong characters before reaching its final destination.
